Even in the country, the nation's children also make many interesting innovations, such as innovations from Ahmad Dahlan University students. The I-Trash Team of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) chaired by Royan Agil Nugroho (Mathematics 2018) consisting of Muhamad Fajri Majid (Informatics Engineering 2018), An Syafarino Armawahyudi (Information Systems 2020), Rini Suphia Nuryati (Physics 2020), under the guidance of Dr. Imam Riadi, S.Pd., M.Kom., won gold medals in the World Science Environment and Engineering Competition (WSEEC) and IYSA special award, Favorite category of the organization that overshadows. In addition, the I-Trash Team also won the IYSA Grand Prize.
This international standard event was held at the environmental school of the University of Indonesia, on July 17-20, 2022 with 305 teams from 22 countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Brazil, Montenegro, India, Mexico, Qatar, South Africa, South Korea and Turkey. The UAD team carried out research entitled "I-TRASH APP (Internet for Trash Application): Smart Solution for Garbage Transporter Based on Economic Creative with Scrum Method App Dev". I-Trash App is an application that digitizes waste pickers or garbage collectors. One of the targets of the research is in the Piyungan area, Yogyakarta.With this application will facilitate a waste management system that is much better than the previous waste bank because the analysis of systems and features is adjusted to the needs of the community through observations and interviews.
